RE: SERIOUS problem with Domino after upgrading to 6.5 + changing hardware ~Michelle Prenuvergon 22.Oct.03 05:12 PM a Web browser Domino Server 6.5Windows 2000
Morten,
Have you tried using Nping (available from the sandbox) from the client machines to see if they can connect to the server onport 1352?
In addition, I know its a pain but have you also tried adding a connection document to the clients personal address book - try this both ways ( ie. usng the dns host name AND explicitly entering the IP address you want to hit the server with)
In addition,
I have had similar issues with dual NIC's where the server "listens" on 1 IP and responds using the other. I guess overall if you're looking for a cause you may want to start at "whats different" - is this the first (and only one using 2 NICS etc)
Be interesting to know which address you have configured in DNS and definitely get rid of the host file entry - if DNS works it jsut confuses the issue.
